Terms of Use
Last updated: October 11, 2026
The quick version
- TaskNest is free. You must be 13 or older (16 in the EU).
- Your homework is yours. We just store it for you.
- Be respectful and don't upload anything hurtful, illegal or not yours.
- Keep your password safe.
- TaskNest is made by a student, so it might have bugs or change over time.
By making a TaskNest account, you agree to these terms. They're written to be easy to read, so please actually read them.
1. Who can use TaskNest
You must be at least 13 years old to use TaskNest. If you live in the EU, you must be at least 16. If you're younger than that, please don't make an account. We'll delete accounts that belong to people under the age limit.
2. Your account
- One account per person. Don't share your account or your password with anyone.
- Use a strong password that you don't use for other websites.
- If you think someone else has gotten into your account, change your password and email us at tasknesthelpdesk@gmail.com.
3. Your stuff is yours
Everything you put in TaskNest (your tasks, notes and pictures) belongs to you. You let us store and show it to you, and that's all we use it for. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
4. Be respectful
Don't use TaskNest to:
- upload anything hurtful, hateful, violent, or inappropriate;
- upload anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to share;
- try to break TaskNest, get into other people's accounts, or overload it on purpose;
- send spam or abuse through feature suggestions.
If someone breaks these rules, we may remove the content or close the account.
5. TaskNest is free and "as is"
TaskNest is a free project built by a student. We work hard to keep it running well, but:
- it may sometimes have bugs or be offline;
- features may change, be added, or be removed;
- we can't promise your information will never be lost, so keep your own copy of anything really important (like a big project's due date!).
As far as the law allows, TaskNest is provided without guarantees, and we aren't responsible for problems caused by using it, like a missed deadline. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law in your country gives you.
6. Ending your account
You can stop using TaskNest at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email tasknesthelpdesk@gmail.com and we'll do it within 30 days. If TaskNest ever shuts down, we'll try to give you notice first.
7. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll tell you inside TaskNest. If you keep using TaskNest after that, it means you agree to the new terms.
8. Questions
